Well just like I promised,
I am going to tell you all about my adventures while I was away on vacation! I have so many stories to tell, I just don't know where to start! |

I decided to drive from Texas to New York, because that is where the plane to Europe leaves from! And I wanted to drive so I could see parts of the US I had only learned about in school... |
| It was a long drive, very
long : ) But I had a great time.. and I was so excited to be going to Europe, that the time and the miles flew by fast! |

When I got there, I discovered that my plane wasn't leaving for another week, so I got to hang out in New York until time to go! |
| It was the first time I
had ever been to "The Big Apple" so I did some sight seeing! |

| I stayed in an area called Chelsea and I went to Times Square! I did some shopping and had to buy one more piece of luggage to take it with me! | |
| I went to the huge Macy's store and a whole bunch of little trendy stores that are only in NY... |

I think the cab rides was the scarest part of being in NY. No one there stays in the lines painted on the streets! They will turn a 3 lane street into 4... They drive crazy !!! |
And next time I will tell you more! This is only the beginning : )
